Following a recommendation we originally found in "Follow the reader" we booked a series of Bed and Breakfast stays in New Zealand through a group called Hostlinknz.com. We rented a car and toured mainly the South Island with the hope of meeting New Zealanders and the foreign visitors. We weren't disappointed. Our accommodations were always spotless, and the hosts were very helpful, dinner was sometimes provided, and they were always good in some cases excellent. While the Island looks small driving from tip to tip and corner to corner can be exhausting. But the people we encountered were some of the friendliest I have ever met.

The verb form of accommodations is "to accommodate" and no one does it better than Hostlink. The Hosts are all couples who work together to accommodate. They are all excellent cooks and their mates are good little servers and cleanerupers. All went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The homes are all lovely and well located with first class amenities.

Our only regret is that we could not stay longer at each. The Hosts are folks that you would like to know better. We'll be back.

A Month in New Zealand
My husband and I had a wonderful trip to New Zealand, Jan 8-Feb 10 02.

We were extremely impressed with the quality of our accommodations. We always had a bathroom en suite and access to a sitting room. We stayed three nights in each location, which gave us a chance to unwind and explore the area.

We would really recommend a trip to New Zealand. The people are so friendly, the scenery is beautiful and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
